Hi!!! Welcome to the class site. Let me introduce myself...
This is my rescue dog, Sabine, who is full of boundless energy. We like to take long walks in Central Park.
I have an immense passion for reading (thanks Mom!), and still get goose bumps walking into bookstores and libraries. I suppose all this reading helped me graduate from Union College in Schenectady, NY, and obtain a masters in early childhood/elementary education at Bank Street College of Education here in NYC. I consider myself an eternal learner: I studied jewelry design and fabrication at FIT, and again when I lived in Mexico, where I also studied Spanish.
I love, love, love to travel! There is nothing like experiencing new cultures and terrain, meeting new people, eating the local fare (larvae from the palm tree or termites, take your pick), & petting the indigenous animals without becoming their lunch. But most of all, I love to teach!
